Architectural Certification
Professional Consultants Certificates from our RIBA Chartered Architects
As an experienced architects practice for Leigh, Wigan and Greater Manchester, our RIBA Chartered Architects are qualified to produce Architects Certificates, now known as Professional Consultants Certificates from the Council of Mortgage Lenders, to certify new build or newly converted properties.
Often appointed by architectural technologist practices, builders or other contractors, PAB Architects visits properties during construction to inspect and survey structure, layouts and other features before certifying the quality of the build and providing reassurance in respect of structural defects.
A Professional Consultants Certificate is lender-approved, produced quickly and lasts for 6 years following issue. This form of certification may be used to secure finance on the property such as a remortgage, but it is not an insurance policy in the way that a structural or NHBC warranty offers more complete protection.
