Our PAB Architects team, based at our head office in Leigh, Greater Manchester, comprises Chartered Architect, qualified architect, architectural technologist and administrative expertise that delivers bespoke architect, planning and design services tailored to our clients’ needs.
Established in 1992, PAB Architects’ team is a professional Chartered Practice committed to quality of service, uniqueness in design and driving positive change for the communities within which we work.
Paul Baines BA (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA
Chartered Architect & Practice PrincipalEstablishing PAB Architects in 1992, RIBA-Chartered Paul takes a hands-on role in leading design-focused initiatives for every project. Continually developing and growing the business, Paul is particularly involved in scheme design and feasibility work, as well as specialist heritage, listed building and conservation area projects.
Dale Melling MSc (Hons) ACIAT
Senior Architectural TechnologistFirst joining PAB in 1999, Dale enjoys extensive commercial, industrial and residential experience across our project portfolio. Working in CAD, and ensuring the practice stays ahead of design and technology demands, Dale adapts designs and processes to meet client need, and to reflect an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
James Hunter ACIAT
Senior Architectural TechnologistDelivering highly creative designs across a full suite of residential, commercial and industrial projects, including sport and leisure developments, James undertakes new build, renovation, refurbishment and remodelling work to modernise and repurpose our clients’ buildings. Joining PAB in 2005, James enjoys excellent, well-established client relationships.
Andrew Thomas BA (Hons) ARB
ArchitectPart of the PAB team since 2012, Andrew is a qualified and registered architect benefiting from city centre practice expertise. Backed by his industry experience and broad skillset, Andrew takes a practical, hands-on role on every project, leading our project and contract management services on site to progress client projects efficiently.
Katharine Duff
Office AdministratorWorking together with Susan, Katharine keeps the office and our project portfolio running smoothly with valuable accounting, secretarial and administrative support.
Samuel Kedward
Junior Architectural TechnologistSam joined us after completing college, and is now training alongside our senior team as a Junior Architectural Technologist. Bringing design skills and a keen interest in every aspect of architecture, Sam looks forward to progressing within PAB Architects whilst continuing to build positive client relationships.
